With him were
two young up-and-coming American sopranos, whose careers he has been

About 14 minutes in, the lovely Angel
Blue sings a powerful "Dich, Teure Halle," and at around 25 minutes,
Domingo sings Germont to Micaëla Oeste's
Violetta in the Act 2 duet. He starts off a bit wobbly, (I'd be happy to sing
that well even before I am 80-whatever) but blossoms as the scene progresses.
The two of them create very moving drama, especially considering they're in
concert dress, 10 feet away from each other and in front of looming
microphones.
